Studying with a Disability?
Do you have ADHD, autism or dyslexia? Chronic fatigue, diabetes or rheumatism? A physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment? Mental symptoms, such as an anxiety disorder or depression? And have you noticed that this is affecting your academic progress?
The student counsellor for your degree programme is your first point of contact. In a personal interview, your student counsellor will look at ways to make your degree programme more accessible for you. Of course, you will want to make use of any available special provisions. So be sure to get in touch with a student counsellor, even if you have doubts about whether you require any adaptations. The interview is confidential. The sooner you talk to the student counsellor about your disability, the sooner we will be able to address your needs. Mail to: studentcounsellor.amsib@hva.nl
What opportunities are available for you?
Check the A-Z list (see below) to see the special provisions on offer at AUAS.
